Joy Creed - Biography
Award-winning gospel artist Joy Creed is a singer/songwriter originally from Jamaica. Joy's inspirational writing and singing is a cross between Tracy Chapman, Gladys Knight and Candi Staton.
Combining truth & real life experiences in her music, Joy has been able to connect with people of all ages and ethnicities through various styles such as: Reggae, soca, calypso, r&b/soul and zouk.
She has performed at various churches, concert and key event venues in Jamaica, U.S.A. and Canada, as well as, sharing stage with Kierra Sheard, U.S.A.
In addition, she has been very active in singing the national anthem at events, as well as, lead roles in various radio/TV commercial for key corporate stakeholders in both private and public sectors.
Her most recent project ‘Rise Again,’ a reggae single was released May 29, 2011.
