Prince Pankhi

An original member of Capleton's exclusive David House Family, Prince Pankhi ushers in a new era of conscious dancehall with a roots feel, status quo-challenging lyrics, stirring up flames of controversy with every bellow of his thunderous vocals.

The newest addition to the Otis Riddim Records entertainments is Prince Pankhi, an original member of Capleton Exclusive David House Family a cultural and musical representative clique. Born in Westmoreland, Jamaica and raised in the capital of Kingston, Prince Pankhi is a natural-born artist and first started his long musical journey at St. Paul's Primary school. Here, as a third grader, he came in at first place in a talent show - He was up against fourth, fifth graders and sixth graders.

Perfecting his craft and building up his reputation as a premier reggae artist over the years Pankhi has been featured worldwide on numerous compilation CDs and has released many of singles on reggae's favourite, 45 rpm vinyl records, as well as released three previous full-length CDs from 2001 to 2004, Golden Glory which was recorded by Black Mind Records, Marvelous Journey which was recorded by Indigo International Records Studio and Family Of Love recorded by Mad Beat Entertainment.

Prince Pankhi's new album The Right Way, was self-produced, on his own independent label I Entourage Recording Inc. The album features Capleton, Fantan Moja, Zahair, Steve Machettie, Uplifter, Empress Michel. The CD is distributed by Jet Star, where it can be purchased on-line. Downloads can be purchased by pressing the MP3 links, to the right of the track listings.

The first single from The Right Way is the fourth track Waiting Fans (click link to see video). Prince Pankhi also has another new track, Musical Starving, on the new various artists CD, entitled uPLiFTMeNT.

Prince Pankhi continues to blaze crowds into the frenzy, headlining his own energetic performances as well as opening for many of reggae's greats such as Capleton, Sean Paul, Beanie Man, Gregory Isaacs, Elephant Man and Coco T. Prince Pankhi tours with, the fire man, Capleton at venues across USA, Jamaica & Europe. Prince Pankhi toured Europe recently with Capleton and Buju Banton in - July 2006
